Research Policy

We are engaged in research activities mainly from applied chemistry and chemical engineering aim to solve global environment problems and energy problems. Specifically, we are focusing on the development of energy carrier technologies to utilize new energy centered on renewable energy, and the development of chemical thermal storage materials for effectively utilizing unused thermal energy such as industrial waste heat I will. In addition, with the aim of solving various problems related to nuclear energy that became apparent after the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident in 2011, it is related to the development of new materials aiming at improving the safety of nuclear power plants and related to polluted water problem and decommissioning technology We are also working on research.

Greeting

As Associate Professor of Urban Environment System Course Major in Building and Urban Science on April 1, 2015, we set up a new laboratory. In previous studies, new materials development aiming at effective utilization of industrial waste heat and effective utilization of renewable energy by using knowledge and techniques of catalytic chemistry, chemical engineering, material chemistry against environmental problems and energy problems Has been promoted. In this course, research and educational activities are being conducted from various fields to cities, expand their view in such an environment, develop new research to solve domestic and overseas environmental and energy problems We would like to go.
